Jury : The jury will consist of well known personalities from the music world. The main points they will take in to account are the presentation ; over all appreciation of the work ; general interest and originality of the choice of music ; virtuosity or mastery of the instrument.

Prizes (¬†Edition 2009¬†) : Category A : 1st  prize : 500 euros * 2nd prize : 300 euros * 3rd  prize : 200 euros * Category B : 1st  prize : 500 euros * 2nd prize : 300 euros * 3rd  prize : 200 euros * Category C : 1st  prize : concert(s) (travelling expenses excluded) 2nd prize : 1000 euros * 3rd  prize :   500 euros * *The prizes offered by the association and its partners will take various forms : cheques, vouchers, partitions etc.

In addition to the competition there will also be stands organised by music publishers and instrument makers. Visits around the old town of Le Mans (Plantagenêt city), conferences etc. Further information will appear on the site in the coming weeks. For this competition, contemporary works are welcome.
