Within the frame of the cultural heritage of Sarthe, the original members ( Muriel Bellier and Etienne Avice ) of les Amis de Arnold Dolmetsch decided to create an international competition for recorder ensembles. This competition, to celebrate the work of the Dolmetsch family, who lived in Le Mans at the end of the 19 th century is also to make this instrument better known though different activities which will take place during the competition. The office elected Kazunori Suzuki to represent association in Asia.
